Reproductive Healthcare Reimagined

GenBioPro: A New Vision for Reproductive Health

GenBioPro is changing the landscape for reproductive health. We are a new and different kind of pharmaceutical company, determined to make a difference. Our mission and values are straightforward: We stand for personal dignity, access to medical evidence, self-determination, and a world that ensures that safe, affordable, reproductive health care — including medical abortion — is within reach for everyone.

Attaining fair and equitable access to reproductive health care is our north star and guiding principle.
It informs:

We are dedicated to decreasing barriers, increasing access, and advocating for health care providers, pharmacies, and patients alike. Are you with us?

The Evolving Landscape for Medical Abortion

Progress and Continuing Challenges

The original promise of medical abortion, more than 20 years ago, was that it would revolutionize reproductive health care by breaking down silos and decentralizing abortion care, making it more readily available. This promise has been slow to materialize in the US. For many years, medically unnecessary restrictions and political interference have resulted in medical abortion being inaccessible for far too many people. Limitations on abortion care training, high costs, laws banning abortion care and targeting providers, and disinformation are just some of the barriers that still constrain access to abortion care. Yet despite these obstacles, we continue to move closer to the realization of accessible reproductive health care that is available to all who need it. With recent regulatory changes and the growing participation of prescribers and pharmacies, today medical abortion is better known, more widely available, and used by the majority of people seeking abortion care.

Before GenBioPro, health care providers had limited options for quality, reasonably priced family-planning products that millions of their patients depended on.
